pinoyonline: Miriam College AIESEC Global Internship Program is currently looking for interested applicants/ trainees for this year’s AIESEC Global Internship Program. Present in over 1000 universities in 111 countries, AIESEC is the international platform for young people to explore and develop their potential to have a positive impact in society. AIESEC today provides 5,000 leadership positions to its members and provides young individuals the access to almost 4,000 work-abroad opportunities. AIESEC in the Philippines exists in Ateneo de Davao University, Ateneo de Manila University, Adamson University, De Lasalle University, Enderun Colleges, Miriam College, University of Asia and Pacific and University of the Philippines – Diliman. Four times a year, AIESEC in different universities and colleges here in the Philippines facilitate outgoing exchanges through the Global Internship Program (GIP) wherein qualified exchange participants of ages 16 to 30 years old are sent abroad to AIESEC partner companies, NGOs, Government universities and organizations of over 111 AIESEC member countries for a minimum of 6 weeks to a maximum of 18 months. The program is divided into four types of traineeships: Management, Technical, Educational and Developmental, all varying in the types of internships provided depending on the field of study.
