Tonya: Insiang, gusto kong magtapat ka sa’kin. Huwag kang magkakaila at huwag kang magsisinungaling sa’kin. Ilang araw napupuna kong malapit ka kay Dado. Ilang gabi rin akong nagigising na wala sya sa tabi ko. May relasyon ba kayong dalawa?
Insiang: Ba’t ‘di sya ang tanungin nyo?
Tonya: Sagutin mo ‘ko!
Insiang: Ano ba sa palagay nyo?
Tonya: Isang sagot lang ang kailangan ko. Oo o hindi?
Insiang: Oo!

Tonya: Bakit inaagaw mo sya sa’kin?
Insiang: Hindi ko sya inaagaw sa’yo! Akong mahal nya’t hindi kayo!
Tonya: Sinungaling!
Insiang: Magtatanan kami. Lalayo kami rito’t pakakasalan nya ako. Wala kayong kwenta sa kanya!
Tonya: Hindi ako naniniwala sa’yo!
Insiang: Alam nyo ba kung anong sinasabi nya sa’kin? Kung anong ginagawa nya sa kanya sa kama para masiyahan lamang sya?
Tonya: Tumigil ka!
Insiang: Oo, Inay, alam kong lahat! Pinagtatapat nya sa’kin lahat!
Tonya: Tama na!
Insiang: At nandidiri sya sa inyo. Kaya sya naglalasing bago pumasok sa kwarto nyo, para masikmura kayo!
Tonya: Tama na!
Insiang: ‘Yun ang sabi nya. Matanda na kayo, Inay. Kulubot na ang balat nyo! Kaya paggising nya sa umaga’y nasusuka sya — nasusuka sa pagmumukha nyo!

Since many Filipinos are not aware of prevention and treatment, this number will continue to increase unless we do something about it.
